Chariot 360
Company description
Chariot360 builds a four-wheel electric micro-utility vehicle (MUV) designed to cut down on time employees spend walking across large facilities — warehouses, industrial campuses, manufacturing plants, resorts, event venues, airports, and construction sites. The compact, foldable platform (branded the "Chariot Glidator" in earlier materials, now marketed as the Chariot360 MUV) combines the stability of a four-wheel base with the agility of a scooter, and is aimed at security personnel, warehouse and facilities staff, utility and grounds work, recreational riders, and people with mobility impairments alike. The company took part in the 2025 Emerging Industries cohort of Startup Texas, the accelerator and pitch competition sponsored by the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC) in partnership with UTRGV's Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center (ECC) and taught at the eBridge Center.
Co-founder Rigo Lozano brings 18 years of experience as a general contractor across new home building and commercial/industrial renovation, while co-founder Omar Lozano has 30 years of experience as a technical mechanic repairing engines, rebuilding transmissions, and handling electrical work — a combination well suited to building and refining a vehicle prototype. The two had already been working together for more than five years before founding the company in October 2024. Omar built the first prototype, and Rigo funded subsequent prototypes and R&D; by the time of the January 2025 Startup Texas application, the company had its first customer awaiting delivery and two additional confirmed orders with deposits.
