Noah’s Ark
Company description
Noah's Ark is being built as an all-in-one pet care app that combines lost-pet recovery with reward incentives, community-shared care advice, and a marketplace featuring both local pet vendors/shelters and national brands. The pitch is that pet ownership today is fragmented — lost-pet recovery relies on scattered Facebook posts and flyers, new pet owners struggle to find trustworthy care guidance, and small shelters and mom-and-pop pet shops struggle to compete with big-box retailers — and Noah's Ark aims to unify all of it into one app, with planned features including in-app televet consultations and an AI-powered pet waste analyzer for early health detection. The company presented at BCIC's September 2025 Startup Texas pitch nights at the eBridge Center, part of a program run by the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC) in partnership with UTRGV's Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center (ECC).
CEO Daniel Pizana is a practicing Brownsville attorney (Law Office of Daniel Pizana PLLC, focused on criminal, family, and immigration law) who has also pursued at least one other Startup Texas venture — a legal-services concept called "Pay My Lawyer," which he pitched at a separate February 2025 Startup Texas Demo Day. He founded Noah's Ark in March 2024 alongside three other part-time co-founders — Rick Morales, Odalys Curiel, and Juan Pablo Torne — who had already been working together for roughly 2.5 years by the time of the March 2025 Startup Texas application.
